1. Newborn Baby Bathtub or Bath Support
A newborn bathtub with proper head and neck support is a must. Look for non-slip designs that keep your baby secure and comfortable during bath time. I have linked two. First one is great for newborns because its portable, easy to drain/ clean and doesn't waste a ton of water! It has a nice hammock that is removable when they get a little bigger! Second one is a suction bath seat I use now that my little one can sit up by themselves! She really enjoys being in the tub with her big brother and its also easy to clean and move to other tubs if needed.
2. Gentle Baby Wash & Shampoo
Choose a tear-free, fragrance-free baby wash made specifically for newborns. Simple formulas help protect delicate skin while keeping baby clean. Also comes with refills!
3. Soft Baby Washcloths
Baby washcloths made from cotton or bamboo are gentle enough for newborn skin and perfect for cleaning small folds and creases. They will also end up in their mouth to chew on so I like these ones because they are soft and durable. I also like to lay one on top of them to keep them warm.
4. Hooded Baby Towels
Hooded baby towels help keep your newborn warm and cozy after bath time. Thicker, oversized towels last longer as your baby grows. I find these earier to use than baby robes and the smaller size is perfect. They also dry very quickly.
5. Baby Lotion or Moisturizer
A gentle baby lotion helps lock in moisture after baths. Look for fragrance-free options designed for sensitive or newborn skin. I will also link the cream we use for my toddler who has eczema that clears it up so quickly!
6. Baby Bath Thermometer
A baby bath thermometer ensures water temperature stays safe and comfortable for your newborn, helping prevent burns or chills. It beeps when the water is too hot!
7. Spout Cover
Great for protecting your elbows and their little heads from the bath tub spout! They come in cute little designs.
8. Baby Rinse Cup
A rinse cup designed for babies makes hair washing easier and helps keep soap out of baby’s eyes. I still use one with my toddler.
9. Baby Nail Care Set
Bath time is the best time to trim newborn nails since they’re softer. A baby nail clipper set helps prevent scratches and cuts. Takes all stress out of cutting their little nails!
10. Baby Scalp Brush
These little silicone brushes help with cradle cap and getting spit up out of their hair/scalp. Basically a little scalp massage that my children loved!
